Celebrating 10 years of LCHS

Feature focus May 2021 Happy birthday LCHS. A look back at out tremendous ten years.   2011/12 we were established as an NHS Trust, achieved CQC registration without conditions, queen's nurses at LCHS, in August 2014 Butterfly Hospice opened as a partnership between LCHS and the Butterfly Hospice Trust.   LCHS listed in HSJ and Nursing Times' Top 100 Places to  Work 2015.   In 2015/16 the Trust was shortlisted for a variety of awards including: Staff engagement, physio for you, workforce efficiency, IT. The finance team were commended at the HFMA awards.    In 2016/2017 five year forward view created a shared vison for the future of the NHS based around new models of care.   2016/2017 introduces our now award winning clinical assessment service.    2017/18 rated good by the cqc.  LCHS became a key partner in the Sustainability and Transformation Partnership to improve quality of care and patient outcomes together.  2018/19 rated outstanding by the CQC.  Signed the Armed Forces Covenant.   2019/20 the start of video consultations made access to services easier for patients.  Award winning children's rapid response respiratory service.  The extension of Urgent treatment centres to cover seven areas in Lincolnshire and Peterborough.   2020 national staff survey achieved top scores for community trusts in health and wellbeing, quality of care and staff engagement.
