NHS Board of Directors meeting - April 9

Posted on: 1st April 2019

The next Board of Directors meeting for Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) will take place on Tuesday, April 9.

LCHS runs services across the whole of Lincolnshire, helping people to manage their health at home or in the community through general and specialist nursing and therapy.

The trust also provides urgent care services, including urgent care centres at Skegness and Louth, minor injury units in Gainsborough, Spalding and Peterborough and Lincolnshire's GP Out of Hours service.

Elaine Baylis, Chair of LCHS, said: "Our monthly Board meetings provide the public with an opportunity to find out more about the organisation, the services we provide and how well we are performing. The role of our Board is to ensure that we are providing the highest quality care and improving the health of local people by providing services that reflect the needs of the communities we serve.

"Engaging with our patients and local community is crucial and we actively encourage people to attend and listen to discussions. It offers insight on our performance and an update on wider issues within the NHS. We will also start the meeting with a question and answer session for members of the public."

The meeting starts at 10am and takes place at the trust's headquarters (Beech House, Witham Park, Waterside South, Lincoln, LN5 7JH).

All are welcome to attend but it is asked that you confirm your attendance by emailing lchsecomms@lincs-chs.nhs.uk.

Board papers are published on the LCHS website: www.lincolnshirecommunityhealthservices.nhs.uk/content/board-papers.
