NHS trust Board meeting open to the public

Posted on: 5th January 2022

The next Board of Directors meeting for Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) will take place on Tuesday, 11 January.

LCHS runs services across the whole of Lincolnshire, helping people to manage their health at home or in the community through general and specialist nursing and therapy.

The Trust also provides urgent care services throughout the county and inpatient services at community hospitals in Gainsborough, Louth, Skegness and Spalding.

In line with guidance on fighting the spread of COVID-19 and in the interests of protecting our patients and staff, the Board of Directors meeting will be broadcast live via Microsoft Teams.

If you would like to view the live broadcast of the meeting please click on this link at 10am on Tuesday, 11 January. Members of the public can still get involved by submitting questions to the Board of Directors in advance.

Elaine Baylis, Chair of LCHS, said: "Our board meetings provide the public with an opportunity to find out more about the organisation, the services we provide and how well we are performing. The role of our Board of Directors is to ensure that we are providing the highest quality care and improving the health of local people by providing services that reflect the needs of the communities we serve.

"Engaging with our patients and local community is crucial and we encourage people to get involved. It offers insight on our performance and an update on wider issues within the NHS. We start the meeting with a question and answer session for members of the public, however, this time with questions submitted in advance, due to the virtual nature of this meeting."

If you would like to submit a question for the meeting, please do so before midnight on Sunday, 9 January, by completing the form on the Trust’s website or by emailing lhnt.lchsecomms@nhs.net.
