Two opportunities to ask questions to your local community NHS Trust

Posted on: 21st September 2022

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) has two opportunities for members of the public to ask their questions about the workings of the Trust. These have been rescheduled, following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The first opportunity is the Trusts Annual Public Meeting, which is being held virtually on Wednesday, 5 October September 2022, 13.00-14.30. The Trust will reflect on achievements and performance during the last financial year (1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022).

The meeting will be opened by Trust Chair, Elaine Baylis and feature presentations from LCHS leaders as well as a series of short films showcasing key projects and services from the past year.

Elaine Baylis, Chair, said: "Our Annual Public Meeting is an opportunity to reflect on our performance, progress and achievements during this past year. We have a lot to be proud of including new services, multiple award achievements across the Trust and much more.

“This Annual Public Meeting is a highlight in our events calendar and we hope to offer a very warm digital welcome to those who are able to join us.

“We also look forward to engaging with members of the public on their views and queries on our performance during 2021/22 through the question and answer part of the meeting.”

Visit the LCHS website www.lincolnshirecommunityhealthservices.nhs.uk/apm for more information about the Annual Public Meeting and for the meeting link.

The second opportunity is the Board of Directors Meeting, which is being held virtually on Tuesday, 11 October 2022 at 10.00.

During the Board of Directors meeting, board members and members of the public will hear a staff story from the Learning and Development Team. This team supports staff to develop their skills and knowledge within the Trust. The team will showcase the new development programme.

Elaine Baylis, Chair, said: "Our board meetings provide the public with an opportunity to find out more about the organisation, the services we provide and how well we are performing. The role of our Board of Directors is to ensure that we are providing the highest quality care and improving the health of local people by providing services that reflect the needs of the communities we serve”.

Visit the LCHS website www.lincolnshirecommunityhealthservices.nhs.uk/board-meeting for the Board of Directors meeting link, agenda and papers, which will be available shortly.

All are welcome to attend both meetings but please confirm your attendance by emailing lhnt.lchsecomms@nhs.net.

Questions from members of the public can be submitted in advance of both the meetings. These can be submitted by completing the submission form or by emailing lhnt.lchsecomms@nhs.net. The Trust politely requests no more than one question per person in order to accommodate and manage as many questions as possible from different people.
