Johnson Hospital Pro Darts Charity Showdown

Organisers of a charity professional darts event are offering a limited discount on tickets in celebration of the 71st anniversary of the NHS.The Pro Darts Showdown event takes place at Springfields Events Centre on Friday, 20 September and is a brand new venture from the team behind the popular annual Hospital Ball.

The hospital’s fundraising committee have raised £58,000 over the last 10 years to fund a range of equipment to improve patient and relative comfort including drinking fountains, kitchen area and adapting rooms for day surgery procedures.

The hospital team are working alongside a national promoter to bring major stars of the darts world to Spalding for a hugely entertaining night of exhibition matches. The night will feature 16 times world champion Phil ‘the Power’ Taylor, Wayne Mardle, and current top 16 world players Joe Cullen and Jonny Clayton.

For July only, bookers can receive a 20% discount by adding the promo code NHS71 when selecting tickets.

Local businesses are encouraged to support the event through table sponsorship of £50, or main sponsorship of £1,500 which includes 10 VIP tickets.

Organiser and Johnson Hospital Outpatients Sister Sally Brown said: “We’d love for the Pro Darts Charity Showdown to be a sell-out, not only to give a fantastic atmosphere on the night but also to maximise the amount of money we raise for the benefit of our patients.

“We’re hoping the NHS71 discount off all tickets will encourage people to book before they miss out!”
