Hospice inpatient services

If you are planning to visit one of our wards, please stay at home if you or your family members have had diarrhoea, vomiting or ‘flu-like’ symptoms in the last four days. This helps us to keep ‘winter vomiting’ or Norovirus away from vulnerable patients and staff who could pass it on. Symptoms of Norovirus include diarrhoea and vomiting and, just like flu, the virus can seriously affect vulnerable patients.

The Butterfly Hospice works in partnership with Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and the Butterfly Hospice Trust.

The hospice is purpose-built with six individual patient rooms sitting within four acres of grounds near to Pilgrim Hospital, Boston.

LCHS provides free, high quality palliative, end of life and respite care in an informal and homely environment for adults with life-limiting illness.

Our care is aimed at making your life meaningful and fulfilling, helping you to maintain your dignity and self-respect throughout the various phases of your illness. We endeavour to enable you to remain as independent as possible, replacing only what you are unable to carry out for yourself.

Our staff and volunteers are here to also support your family and friends, who will receive support to take an active part in caring for you.
